Crown Princess Amalia of the Netherlands has begun her service in the country's armed forces, having started training under the reserve training program. This was reported by TV channel NOS.
According to the source, the crown princess was enrolled in the Royal Navy, as well as the land and air forces, earning the junior military ranks of sailor and soldier third class. The standard training program includes several weeks of field training and theoretical lessons, but the practical part will be postponed due to a fractured arm suffered in a fall from a horse.
The princess is currently studying ballistics, tactics and cartography, and plans to participate in the work of the Ministry of Defense apparatus as a freelancer.
