The head of the Union of Poles of Belarus Anjelika Barys, liquidated by the authorities, was able to visit the politically imprisoned journalist Andrzej Poczobut in the colony.

"I received permission for a visit, and today I met with Andrzej in the colony in Navapolatsk. Andrzej sends his heartfelt greetings to everyone - both acquaintances and strangers. He feels psychologically well, receives medication, thanks everyone for remembering him," she wrote.

It should be noted that the meeting with Poczobut took place on the background of the opening of the Polish-Belarusian border. Warsaw will open the border crossings on the night of September 25.
