It's all the fault of the closed border.
Due to the closure of the Polish-Belarusian border many tourists had their vacations disrupted. Now there are no Poles among the vacationers, the chief doctor of the sanatorium Iryna Lukanskaya told the TikTok of the state publication "Grodzenska Prauda". The portal Hrodna.life drew attention to it.
According to Iryna Lukanska, there are no Poles among the vacationers now. She attributed it to the closure of the Polish-Belarusian border.
"People even left early, because they were afraid that they wouldn't be able to return to their country. As a result, it's a violation of their rights. They want to have a vacation in Belarus - we are an open, visa-free country. Come, have a rest, get acquainted with our cultural heritage, see how peaceful and beautiful Belarus is. But people had to leave both the sanatorium and the country in order to guarantee their return home and not be afraid of problems with the return," said the chief physician.
She specified that now the sanatorium is fully loaded: about half of the guests are foreigners, primarily Russians.
Lukanskaya urged to "join forces and fight," not to "put artificial borders absolutely. However, she was reminded in the comments that it was Belarus that opened its borders to attack Ukraine, conducted the "West-2025" exercise and provoked the migration crisis at the Polish border.
The stay from October 26 to 28 for two EU citizens in a double one-room room with five meals a day (without procedures) costs 100 euros in the sanatorium "Neman-72". For Belarusians it will cost a little more - Br362.56.
Poland completely closed the border on the night of September 11-12. The reason was the Russian-Belarusian military exercises "Zapad-2025," held in our country from September 12 to 16.
