The Real Mistake Is To Turn A Blind Eye To Russia's Provocation

The only way to stop Putin is by force - before it's too late.

"It could have been a mistake, but I'm still not happy with this whole situation. I hope this will all be over soon," Donald Trump said, commenting on the Russian drone invasion of Poland.

The real mistake, however, is to turn a blind eye to Russia's dangerous provocation, which threatens to expand the war to other countries in Europe. Putin is not only demonstrating the West's inability to respond with force, but is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is permissible, expanding its still hybrid aggression.

This week, hunting for Russian drones in the skies above a NATO country has become the "new normal." If the West doesn't wake up, the next "new normal" could be missile strikes on logistics hubs through which aid to Ukraine flows. And then the Suwalk Corridor will be a legitimate subject of discussion somewhere in Alaska.

The attempt to appease the aggressor failed long ago. Putin does not need appeasement: he intends to go all the way.

The only way to stop him is by force - before it is too late.
