Belarus Published A "penitential" Video With A Man Who Sold Places In The Queue At The Border

The Telegram channel of the State Customs Committee posted a "penitential" video of a man who sold places in the queue at the border.

"In August 2025, I decided to make money by selling a place in the queue for people traveling outside the Republic of Belarus. To this end, I posted an ad in three groups in Viber. In my personal correspondence I was approached by people who wanted to leave Belarus as soon as possible. Using my personal car, I took a place in the live queue to enter the waiting area. When there was about an hour left before entering the waiting area, I left the queue, and my place was taken by another person, from whom I received a cash reward of $50," said the man.

The State Customs Committee noted that the competent services provide round-the-clock monitoring of such "earnings" at all parts of the border.
