Yermak, After Talks With Whitkoff, Made An Important Statement On The Territories

The USA does not put pressure on Ukraine and does not force it to make territorial concessions to Russia. Yermak emphasized: Washington does not demand concessions from Kiev on the issue of territories. Moreover, American leader Donald Trump confirmed the US readiness to give Ukraine direct security guarantees based on NATO's Article 5 on collective defense.

Kiev and Washington agreed to continue the dialog. In the absence of steps from Russia, Washington is ready to return to discussing additional sanctions. Separately, Yermak spoke about Whitkoff's promise to visit Ukraine and expressed hope that Trump himself will also make a visit to our country at some point.

American diplomat, according to Yermak, reacted emotionally to photos of the consequences of Russian shelling of Ukraine, which killed people, including children.
