There's A Sparkle Between Iran And Russia

The Russian Foreign Ministry has condemned "odious and blatant" statements from Iran to the Kremlin.

Some media outlets in Iran are spreading "inaccurate publications about Russia's foreign policy in order to cast a shadow on friendly Russian-Iranian relations," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

The materials say Moscow is not a "reliable partner" of Tehran and did not help it "properly" during the 12-day war with Israel. The Foreign Ministry said the emergence of such information was a "coordinated disinformation campaign" carried out by forces "hostile" to the two countries.

"The most odious idea was expressed by [Mohammad] Sadr, a member of Iran's Expediency Council, who claimed in a video interview on August 24, without evidence, that 'Russia has passed intelligence information with the exact coordinates of all Iranian air defenses to Israel,'" the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
