"Not Funding Putin": Sikorski Clearly Responded To Szijjártó

Hungary can get oil from non-Russian sources.

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that Hungary has the ability to obtain oil from alternative sources without financing the Russian war machine.

He wrote about it on the X social network.

Sikorski was reacting to the emotional words of Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó, who sharply responded to colleagues from Ukraine and Poland over criticism of Budapest's decision to impose sanctions against Unmanned Systems Force commander Robert (Madjar) Brovdy.

"Peter, as the European Commission has repeatedly stated, Hungary can get oil from non-Russian sources without financing Putin's war machine," the Polish foreign minister said.

He called Budapest for solidarity with Ukraine and recalled the events of 1956, when Hungarians rose up against the communist dictatorship.

However, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that the country will ban the entry into the country of the commander of the AFU, who led the attack on the Druzhba oil pipeline. The ban will also apply to entry to the Schengen zone.
