Sweden summoned the Russian ambassador to the Foreign Ministry because of the massive shelling of Ukrainian territory on the night of August 28.

The press service of the Swedish Foreign Ministry reports.

"Sweden summoned the Russian ambassador to protest against Russia's constant attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilians," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The statement on the Foreign Ministry's website also said that Sweden wanted to emphasize the obligations during the meeting
