Another "Triumph" of the invaders on the peninsula "went blind".
Scouts managed to successfully hit an expensive target in the temporarily occupied Crimea. It is about the Russian radar system from the S-400.
According to Telegram channel of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.
The attack took place on the night of August 28. The special forces hit a Russian 91N6E radar system from the S-400 Triumf SAM system on the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea.
"Another 'Triumph' of the invaders on the peninsula 'blinded' - it seems to be a fiasco. Demilitarization of temporarily occupied Crimea continues," the intelligence officers noted.
What is known
The 91N6E radar is a key element of the S-400 system.
It is a modernized version of the 64N6E station from the S-300 system. It is a panoramic three-dimensional radar mounted on the MZKT-7930 chassis, which can rotate 360°.
It provides target detection at distances of up to 600 kilometers depending on the size of the object and is capable of simultaneously tracking up to 300 targets, escorting up to 100 of them.
Conditional range for ballistic targets is up to 230 km, for large aircraft at high altitudes - up to 530 km, and the maximum range reaches 600 km.
The radar uses a two-way phased antenna array with electronic guidance in two planes and program frequency hopping, which makes it resistant to radio interference. Once deployed, the system is ready for operation in about 5 minutes.
Data from the 91N6E is transmitted to the control center, which coordinates the entire combat cycle - from target detection and classification to missile prioritization and launch.
His responsiveness and automated data transfer to the launch systems make it the central hub of the "eye and brain" of the S-400.
