An F-16 fighter jet crashed in the Polish city of Radom on Thursday, killing its pilot.
Polish government spokesman Adam Szlapka said.
Szlapka said the F-16 crashed during preparations for the AirShow aviation exhibition in Radom.

"Unfortunately, the pilot was killed. Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh has spoken to the prime minister and is now on his way to the crash site," the speaker wrote on X.
The video, circulated on social media, shows the fighter jet abruptly losing altitude and crashing to the ground.
The International Aviation Exhibition AirShow is due to take place August 30-31 in Radom and is one of the largest such events in Europe, with more than 150 aircraft from 20 countries to be seen this year.
