Kellogg And Mertz React To The Russians' Massive Strike On Ukraine

Russia has once again shown its true colors.

United States Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg reacted to the massive strike by Russian occupation forces on Ukraine on the night of Thursday, August 28. Kellogg, on social network X, called the shelling the second largest air attack ever in a full-scale war.

"Targets? Not soldiers and weapons, but residential areas of Kiev - civilian trains, offices of European Union and British missions and innocent civilians," he emphasized.

The U.S. spokesman pointed out that these strikes threaten the peace that American President Donald Trump seeks.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz condemned the overnight massive Russian attack and emphasized that Russian Federation "showed its true face again."

"The fact that the EU mission is now also in the crosshairs shows the growing unscrupulousness of the Russian regime," Merz said.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said two Russian missiles had hit within 50 meters of the EU mission building. German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful said the occupiers' strikes on Kiev could not go unanswered. European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas said Russia's massive attack "demonstrates a conscious choice of escalation and mockery of peace efforts."
