Fire At Kuibyshev Refinery In Russia Continues

Despite claims by the authorities.

A fire at an oil refinery (refinery) in the Samara region of Russia's aggressor country, which broke out as a result of an overnight drone attack, is still burning.

The Telegram channel Astra reports this, citing local residents.

"Two fires can be seen near the Kuibyshev refinery," the commentary to the published footage reads.

Earlier in the morning of August 28, the governor of the Samara region, commenting on the UAV raid, claimed that "the resulting fire was extinguished as soon as possible," and the operational services "quickly and smoothly eliminated the consequences" of the attack. He did not specify exactly where and what caught fire.

On the night of August 28, drones attacked two oil refineries in Russia - the Afipsky refinery in Krasnodar Krai and the Kuibyshev refinery in Samara Oblast.
