The fire happened in the main building this morning.
In Vitebsk there was a fire in the main building of the State Technological University.
The message about smoke was received at 04:34 on August 28 from the automatic warning system "Molniya".
The rescuers who arrived at the place of the call found smoke coming from the window of the first floor of the educational building. Entering inside, they found out that the fire occurred in the vestibule room.
The fire was promptly extinguished. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Preliminary information indicates that the fire in the vestibule damaged wall finishes, destroyed the ceiling and damaged the electric bicycle.
The version of the cause of the fire is a violation of the rules of operation of electrical equipment, in particular, short circuit of the electric bicycle.
