Young men and women deputies of local councils abroad
Reminder, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on August 27 promulgated a decree that allows men aged 18 to 22 (inclusive) years to cross the border during martial law.
These men are required to carry not only a passport, but also a military registration document (in paper or electronic form). The documents must be presented at checkpoints at the request of an employee of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
With the onset of full-scale war in Ukraine introduced restrictions on the departure of men from 18 to 60 years old. This decision was made to ensure mobilization and fulfill the constitutional duty of citizens to defend the country.
Men aged 18 to 25 years old can not actually be drafted during mobilization. At the same time, they also had no right to travel abroad.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers on August 27 abolished the ban on travel abroad during martial law for women deputies of local councils. The changes apply to female deputies at all levels of councils, except for those who receive a salary for their work in local government.
