Germany Set A Record For Arms Exports

The main recipient is Ukraine.

Germany set a record for arms exports in 2024, approving shipments worth 12.83 billion euros, according to Tagesschau.

According to the report, this is the largest amount of military products Germany has ever exported. Ukraine was the leading recipient country, accounting for 8.15 billion euros or 64% of all exports.

Last year, Ukraine received 306 armored combat vehicles, 316 missiles and missile systems, 78 tanks and 11 large-caliber artillery systems. Significant orders also came from Singapore.
