Illegals Increasingly Attack EU Borders From Belarus

4.350 attempts of illegal crossing from the Belarusian territory were recorded in three weeks of August 2025 by the neighboring countries of the European Union, according to a comparative analysis of the data of their border services, conducted by "Pozirkam".

Compared to the same period last year, it is 2.4 times more (there were 1.849), with three weeks of July this year - by 7.9% (4.030).

More migrants have tried to enter the Baltic States since the beginning of 2025 than in the whole 2024.

The migration crisis on the border between Belarus and the EU countries has been going on since the spring of 2021. The authorities of the neighboring European states consider it a "hybrid attack" organized by the regimes in Minsk and Moscow.
