Soldiers of the 37th Independent Marine Brigade together with the 214th Independent Assault Battalion OPFOR of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped the enemy's advance and took control of the settlement of Zelenyi Hai in Donetsk region.

This was reported on Saturday, August 23, as reported in the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Dnipro".

"The enemy continues active attempts to return this settlement under its control and occupy other settlements of Donetsk region in this direction. But our soldiers stand firm and on the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine Zelenyi Hai remains under the blue-yellow flag," the military noted.

The analytical portal DeepState reported earlier that the troops of the aggressor country Russia had advanced on the Liman direction of the front.
