Tallinn wants to do its part.
Estonia is ready to participate in a future peacekeeping operation in Ukraine with up to one company.
Estonian Prime Minister Kristin Michal said this on Friday, Reuters reported.
In a meeting with Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo in Tallinn, Michal confirmed that Estonia was ready to contribute up to a company-sized "deterrent force" in Ukraine.
He did not specify exactly how many military personnel he had in mind.
"A prerequisite for a just and sustainable peace is strong security guarantees for Ukraine so that Russia does not even think of repeating aggression. Now we are waiting for other countries to contribute," the Estonian government press service quoted Michal as saying.
