Ukrainian Defenders Shoot Down Orlan Drone-matka With Two Attack Drones For The First Time

It's a unique case.

Ukrainian defenders have for the first time destroyed a Russian Orlan drone, which the occupiers used as an FPV strike carrier. The drone carried two kamikaze drones under its wings.

RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to the page of the 118th OMBr.

Aircraft gunners of the 118th separate mechanized brigade destroyed an enemy Orlan "matka" drone, which carried two FPV drones under its wings.

Before that, pilots of the pursuit platoon had already shot down dozens of enemy reconnaissance drones - Orlan, Zala and Supercam - but this was the first time they managed to destroy a "mate" drone.

"Once again we prove that the sky above us is under control!" the military added.
