That's the only way to get a Nobel Prize and "go to heaven".

To end the war in Ukraine, U.S. President Donald Trump should press the aggressor country Russia financially, only such "language" is understood by illegitimate Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated in an editorial New York Post published on August 20.

Media pointed out that Russia is delaying peace in Ukraine (after Trump's communication with Putin, shelling of Ukraine has only intensified), so Trump should press Putin's "vulnerable spot."

The journalists believe that Trump cannot win the Nobel Prize (which is what he wants) unless he forces Putin to the negotiating table on the war in Ukraine.

The article emphasizes that "Putin only understands financial language," and the Russian economy is already under strain due to huge military spending, inflation and sanctions.

New York Post believes that Trump's threat to impose secondary sanctions against Russia forced Putin to agree to the meeting in Alaska (Trump and Putin met on U.S. soil on August 15), and it is financial pressure that should be exerted on the Kremlin chief.

The publication believes that to stop the killing in Ukraine, Trump should expand sanctions against Russia, raise duties on Russia, and "find creative ways" to end Moscow's trade in oil and minerals - and "this will quickly get Moscow's attention" and make Putin "move at the same speed" on the issue of peace as the White House is moving.

The authors of the piece believe that such actions will contribute to Trump's desire to "go to heaven."
