Millions Of Drones Annually: Zelensky Reveals Details Of Future Agreement With US

Ukraine has offered the United States a "drone" deal that would allow it to produce about 10 million drones annually.

This was announced by President Vladimir Zelensky during a meeting with journalists on August 20, according to RBC-Ukraine.

"As for drones: the drone deal that we have prepared and proposed to the American side on production for 50 billion dollars is 5 years and 10 million drones a year. Such a big program. Probably, it will work after the war," Zelensky noted.

He also added that Ukraine has developed a plan for the purchase of American arms for 90 billion dollars.

"Regarding 90 billion for the purchase of weapons: I believe that a strong component of weapons is prescribed, which the Ukrainian army needs as part of security guarantees. This amount is fair," the Ukrainian leader added.

The Financial Times reported earlier that Ukraine could buy up to $100 billion worth of European-funded US weapons as part of an agreement to obtain security guarantees from the US.

Ukraine and the US could also conclude a $50 billion agreement on drone production with Ukrainian companies.
