AFP: Putin Told Trump He Was Ready To Meet With Zelensky

Details of the telephone conversation between the US President and the head of the Kremlin have become known.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. And confirmed it in a conversation with American leader Donald Trump.

According to a source familiar with the discussions, Putin has agreed to meet with Zelensky. He made the announcement in a phone call with Trump, who called the Kremlin between talks at the White House with European leaders.

It should be noted that German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has already said that the meeting between Putin and Zelensky should take place within two weeks. And the place still has to be agreed upon.

We will recall that following the meetings in the White House, the American president said that he had begun preparations for a summit between Zelensky and Putin. According to him, the place of such a meeting should be announced soon.
