Trump Said He Had Begun Preparations For A Meeting Between Putin And Zelensky

The president of the United States called the dictator of the Russian Federation.

U.S. President Donald Trump told Truth Social that after concluding meetings with Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders, he called Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and began preparations for a meeting between Putin and Zelensky.

"At the conclusion of the meetings, I called President Putin and began preparations for a meeting between President Putin and President Zelensky, the location of which is still to be determined. After this meeting, we will hold a trilateral meeting between the two presidents and myself. Again, this was a very good, early step for a war that has been going on for almost four years. Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff are coordinating with Russia and Ukraine," Trump wrote.
