The DeepState project has confirmed that the occupiers in Ukraine are practically treading water.
On August 17, the monitoring service DeepState, which cooperates with the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, informed in Telegram that over the past 1,010 days (about three years) Russian occupiers have managed to occupy less than 1% of Ukraine's territory.
"Starting from November 12, 2022 (114,489 km² occupied on that date) to today (114,493 km²), the enemy has occupied 5,842 km² of Ukrainian territory. This is 0.96781% of the entire area of the Ukrainian state within the internationally recognized borders," the report says.
The authors noted that the enemy occupied most of the territory in the first days of the full-scale invasion that began on February 24, 2022, but then the Ukrainian army de-occupied most of the territory.
"After November 12, 2022, the enemy continued active offensive actions, which with minor interruptions continue to this day. [...] We hope these numbers reach our American partners, because their math is lame," DeepState writes.
