"There Was Even Panic In The RF At First."

How the US has nicely reminded Putin that he has a problem.
Ukrainian political scientist Igor Reiterovych on Radio NV assessed the U.S. "subtle move" when U.S. First Lady Melania Trump delivered a letter to Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin during a meeting in Alaska, urging him to protect children and care for future generations around the world:
- On the one hand, this topic is really very important to us. It is one of the key issues that we constantly raise, even during the meetings with Russians that took place in Turkey. Because we know very well what Russia is doing, how it is doing it.
And these are not just war crimes. This is generally, according to the definition of the United Nations charter, a genocidal practice that has to do with children being taken out, trying to make Russians out of Ukrainians, and a lot of other things like that. That's the first point.
The second point. I think there was a subtle move here, which has to do with the fact that the warrant against Putin was issued precisely for the kidnapping of children. That is, it is also a reminder from the United States (very nicely done, by the way) that Putin has problems with this - not only of a purely practical nature, because they kidnap children, but also at the level of the legal framework.
And here it is not important that the United States does not recognize the jurisdiction of this court (the International Criminal Court - Ed.).
And the fact that this is happening through the wife of the President [of the United States]... I don't know who planned it, who was the initiator, who came up with this scheme, but it is very beautiful in the sense that Trump referred to his wife several times and said that she told him about the Russian-Ukrainian war, she is watching it very closely. And obviously, her position is absolutely not on the side of Russian Federation.
So when a fox like this comes up, it's very, as some people have said, honey-written, but it's a diplomatic kind of approach. It doesn't seem to contain any direct things, but it is actually very obvious.
The Russians have to react to it somehow. They can't ignore it, because here Putin is saying that "Trump and I had a great conversation, everything is super," and how can you ignore the first lady's letter?
By the way, there was even panic in Russia at first. They made it public, then removed it, then made it public again. That is, they realized that they could not hide it, especially since the White House published the letter, so it was no longer a rumor.
