Ukrainian defense forces continue to burn enemy military equipment and eliminate its personnel in Kursk region, preventing Russian generals from transferring reinforcements to Sumshchina.

August 16, drone operators of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Magura" and a related unit in Kursk region conducted an operation to destroy enemy equipment and personnel.

The Shark reconnaissance drone near the village of Zvannoye, Glushakovsky district, managed to detect an Ural-4320 truck that was carrying a 152mm Msta-B howitzer on a trailer.

The video published in the Telegram channel "Ukraine 365", as the howitzer was being transported across the destroyed bridge, allied members of the 47th UMBR use a drone (winged barrage munition) to strike both targets.

"Minus an enemy truck with a crew and a gun, disruption of the Russian Federation's plans," Magura stressed.

The AFU destroyed the bridges over the Seim even after August 6, 2024, when they broke through the border into the Kursk region. The Russian Army uses only pontoon crossings on this section of the front.
