Melania Trump has delivered a letter to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin through her husband, Donald Trump. She urged Putin to protect children.

It was reported by Fox News.

U.S. First Lady Melania Trump wrote in a letter to Vladimir Putin that all the world's children, regardless of where they are born, dream of love, opportunity and safety.

"As parents, it is our responsibility to cherish the hope of the next generation. As leaders, our responsibility for the well-being of our children goes beyond the comfort of a few individuals," the letter reads.

Melania Trump's letter says that in today's world, some children are forced to hide their quiet laughter despite the darkness around them.

"Mr. Putin, you can restore their melodious laughter on your own. By protecting the innocence of these children, you will do more than just serve Russia - you will serve all of humanity. Such a bold idea transcends any human disagreement, and you, Mr. Putin, have the power to make this idea a reality with one stroke of the pen today. The time is now," Donald Trump's wife wrote.

According to Reuters, the existence of the letter was not previously known and its contents were not wanted to be disclosed. However, it became known that it referred to the kidnapping of Ukrainian children.
