Zelensky: Ukrainian Troops Have Reached The Border With Russia In Two Places

The president Vladimir Zelensky said this while talking to journalists on Tuesday, August 12, "Ukrinform" reported.

"The most difficult situation is Kramatorsk, Dobropillya-Kramatorsk. What happened there? Groups of Russians have advanced about 10 kilometers in several points. All of them without equipment, only weapons in their hands. Some have already been found, partly destroyed, partly taken prisoner. Others will also be found and destroyed in the near future. The task of this advance is clear to us. Until August 15 to form a certain information space, before the meeting between Putin and Trump, especially in the American space, that Russia is moving forward, advancing, and Ukraine is losing," - said Zelensky.

At the same time, he noted that the Defense Forces have positive results. In particular, in Sumy region, Ukraine has regained control of 6 out of 18 important points previously occupied or strategically important. Ukrainian troops have also reached the border with Russia in two places and advanced another 900 meters deep into enemy territory.

Zelensky added that in Luhansk region Ukrainian units have advanced 1 km deep into enemy positions, while in Zaporizhzhya and Kharkiv directions the positions are held.
