Russian Orlan UAV Found On A Beach In Bulgaria

A drone - probably a Russian reconnaissance UAV "Orlan" - was found on a beach in Bulgaria.

European Pravda reports.

The wrecked UAV was found by holidaymakers on Harmani beach near the town of Sozopol, which is located on the Black Sea coast near Burgas in the southern part of the country.

The Bulgarian Defense Ministry suggested from the condition of the wings and hull of the device that it had been in the water for several months. Official speculation about the model of the craft has not been made.

Radio Liberty reporters in Bulgaria have suggested from the photos that it is likely to be a Russian Orlan-10 reconnaissance UAV, lost during its use in Russia's war against Ukraine.
