The Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Directorate of Intelligence on August 12 published a photo of its chief with a group of military officers on Zmein Island, as well as on gas production towers near the Black Sea coast liberated from Russian occupiers.

The images were taken during Budanov's trip to the positions of Ukraine's defense forces at these sites. The GUR did not specify when he was there.

The report notes that the head of military intelligence held a meeting and awarded soldiers of the "Timur Special Unit" serving in the waters of the World Cup.
