Macron And Starmer Call A New Meeting Of The "coalition Of The Determined"

French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will organize another meeting of the "coalition of the resolute". It will take place as early as July 10.

The Elysee Palace said in a statement, Le Monde reported.

The French head of state will visit Britain from July 8 to 10, where he will meet with the king and address parliament.

"Of course, the issue of how to seriously support Ukraine's combat capability will be discussed," the Elysee Palace specified.

On July 10, Macron and Starmer will chair a meeting of European allies of the Ukrainians. The meeting will focus on discussing "deterrence forces" and putting pressure on Russia.

Macron and Starmer are expected to hold talks with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and other leaders, including German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni, during the Ukraine meeting.

The summit is scheduled to discuss the deployment of a "deterrent force" in Ukraine after the ceasefire.

Discussions will also focus on "ways to increase pressure on Russia to agree to an unconditional ceasefire, which it has consistently rejected," the Elysee Palace said.
