Drones Massively Attacked Moscow And The Moscow Suburbs

On the night of July 4, Moscow and the Moscow region were again attacked by drones. Eyewitnesses reported thick smoke over the region. A series of explosions took place in particular in the Moscow region - in Sergiev Posad as a result of the attack of at least 5 drones raised a fire at a local enterprise.

The drones, tentatively, hit the Zagorsk Optical and Mechanical Plant, which belongs to the Kremlin's military machine. This was reported by the head of the Center for Occupation Studies Petr Andryushchenko in his Telegram channel.

"Our drones have successfully attacked the Russian military plant OAO Zagorsk Optical and Mechanical Plant (OAO ZOMZ). The address is 212 V Krasnaya Armiya Avenue, 141300, Sergiev Posad, Moscow Region," Andryushchenko noted.

According to him, as a result of the drone attack, the operation of a local power substation was disrupted, and the power supply in the town itself and the surrounding area disappeared.

The network also circulated footage of the attack on Sergiev Posad. They show a large column of smoke rising over the city.

Russian publicks say at least 5 attack drones attacked Sergiev Posad.

"According to eyewitnesses, the drones were flying towards a local metal processing plant," according to the Russian media.

According to local media, the attack on Sergiev Posad began around 05:00 hours. Since then, residents of the city have heard the characteristic sounds of drone overflights in the sky, as well as a series of explosions.

Also, according to Russians, a man was injured as a result of the drone attack - he received shrapnel wounds.

Zagorsk Optical and Mechanical Plant - a military enterprise

The plant, which was attacked by drones in the morning, is a Russian military enterprise, whose production facilities are located in Sergiev Posad. It is part of the Shvabe holding company, which belongs to the Russian state defense conglomerate Rostec.

Zagorsk Optical and Mechanical Plant produces pyrotechnics and high-precision optical equipment for the military.
