Zelensky Announced A Conversation With Trump

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will hold a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump. It may take place tomorrow or in the coming days.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of the Ukrainian head of state at a briefing with EU leaders.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine counts on continued assistance from the United States, as there are certain capabilities that European countries cannot transfer. First of all, it is about missiles for Patriot air defense systems, which are critically important.

The president also added that Ukraine counts on its own production. For this purpose, more funding from partners is needed.

"Thank God, we have good relations with European countries. As for bilateral relations with the United States and their support, I hope that perhaps tomorrow or in the next few days we will talk about it with President Trump," Zelensky said.
