Former "mayor" Blown Up In Occupied Luhansk

Manolis Pilavov headed the occupation administration from 2014 to 2023.

There was an explosion in the center of Lugansk on the morning of July 1. Russian media say that a former so-called "mayor" of the occupied city was killed in the incident.

Russian propaganda news agency TASS writes with reference to operational services that the deceased is the former "mayor" of Lugansk Manolis Pilavov. He headed the occupation administration from 2014 to 2023.

According to Russian media, the explosion took place on Taras Shevchenko Street. The explosive device was allegedly detonated when Pilavov was passing by.
