In Tambov, Airport Operations Were Halted Due To A Drone Attack

The UAVs were flying from the Voronezh region.

The airport of the Russian city of Tambov has introduced temporary restrictions on civilian airplane flights. The reason was the threat of attacking drones.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the spokesman of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) Artyom Korenyak.

"To ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights, temporary restrictions on their reception and release have been introduced at the airport of Tambov (Donskoye; ICAO code: UUOT)," he said.

It should be noted that around midnight Minsk time, an air alert was declared in the Tambov region due to the threat of drone attacks heading from the Voronezh region.

In particular, it was reported about the risk of strikes in the cities of Tambov and Kotovsk.
