Ukraine's SVR: Belarus Expands Production Capacity Of Components For Russian Drones And Missiles

Ukrainian intelligence listed the factories that increased production for the needs of the Russian Federation.

Following the imposition of Western sanctions against Russia, demand for products of the Belarusian military-industrial complex has increased. Moscow is looking for components for drones and missile weapons, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine reported.

The intelligence agency said that because of Russian demand, the Belarusian government is accelerating the launch of production facilities related to drones, dual-purpose electronics and targeting equipment.

"Projects with military potential have become a priority in the country's innovation strategy, which previously focused on civilian industries ranging from agrotechnics to pharmaceuticals," it said. "Most of the army-related facilities are expected to be built and operational within a year-and-a-half. Among the examples is a factory for the production of composite elements for UAVs, created on the basis of the NPC of multi-purpose unmanned complexes. The project was frozen back in 2020, but was resumed after the outbreak of war. By the end of 2024, the facility was built and equipped, and launched in February 2025. In March, it reached full capacity," the scouts note.

A similar situation is observed at the Zenit-BelOMO plant, where the production of sighting and auto components oriented to the domestic market and partners is being deployed. Here the launch of lines is scheduled for August, and by the end of the year the plant should work at full capacity.

Expansion of production capacities for the production of dual-purpose electronics also continues at the "Integral" enterprise. In particular, it is about microcircuits, which the Russians can use for guidance systems in missiles Kh-101. The new workshop should be launched in December, and the output at nominal capacity is scheduled for 2026.

In early April, Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Alexander Syrsky told the media that the fact that one of the goals of the military exercises "West-2025" in Belarus could be the hidden creation of Russian troop groups should be taken into account.

Subsequently, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky warned that Russia is "preparing something" during military exercises in Belarus this summer. The president emphasized, the countries of Europe should be ready for it.
