The pilot has yet to be found.

A military helicopter performing a training flight crashed near the town of Grimm in the German state of Saxony, Bild reports, citing law enforcement sources. Fragments of the aircraft were found in the Mulde River.

The helicopter was flying in the interests of the Bundeswehr, but is not part of its fleet and was leased from a Hamburg-based company, Central German Radio reported.

The pilot has not yet been found. It is not excluded that together with him on board could be passengers.

Divers arrived to examine the river bottom at the site of the helicopter crash. The police declared the crash site a closed military zone. In addition, a no-fly zone with a radius of almost 4 kilometers was established over this place.
