Since the truce began, attacks have been reported from several locations.
The Thai army accused Cambodia's military of violating the ceasefire, which the countries agreed on Monday, July 28.
This is reported by Bloomberg.
It is noted that military clashes with Cambodia continued into the morning of Tuesday, July 29, despite the unconditional ceasefire reached by the parties having been in effect since midnight.
According to Royal Thai Army spokesman Vinthai Suwar, there were reports of attacks from several locations after the truce began.
He accused Cambodia of provoking the incidents. He said the country had "deliberately violated the agreement and deliberately undermined mutual trust."
Vintai said Thailand had been forced to resort to retaliatory countermeasures as part of its legal right to self-defense.
A joint meeting of army commanders responsible for Cambodia's and Thailand's border areas has been postponed from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
At the time of publication, Cambodia had not officially commented on the situation.
