Medvedev Threatens Trump

The deputy head of the Russian Security Council saw Trump's ultimatum as a step toward war with the United States.

Deputy head of the Russian Security Council Dmitri Medvedev reminded US President Donald Trump of two things: one, Russia is not Israel or Iran to give it ultimatums, and two, every such demand is a step toward war.

"Not between Russia and Ukraine, but with his own country. Don't go the way of Sleepy Joe," Medvedev warned in X.

Earlier on July 28, Trump reiterated that he was "very disappointed" in Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and announced a reduction in the ultimatum period from 50 days to 10-12.
