Marina Petrazhitskaya worked as head teacher for educational work in Minsk gymnasium #34, which is located near Orlovskaya Street, opposite Kievsky Square.

The woman graduated from the Belarusian State Pedagogical University (then Minsk State Pedagogical Institute) in 1984, after which she taught mathematics.

In July 2021, Petrazhitskaya was sentenced to 15 days in jail. She then had her home searched, was taken to the KGB, and then drew up a protocol for "insubordination." It is not known exactly when the head teacher was fired from the school.

The teacher was arrested in October 2024. As the Belarus Women Foundation reports, Petrazhitskaya was recently sentenced to 2 years in a penal colony. She was accused of participation in an "extremist formation."
