Lukashenko Asks The Kremlin For Money

Minsk is negotiating with the Kremlin on attracting Russian financing for Belarusian investment projects, refinancing existing debts and providing new loans. This was stated by Finance Minister of Belarus Yuri Seliverstov on the sidelines of the International Environmental Conference in Gorno-Altaisk, BelTA informs.

One of the priority areas, according to the Minister, remains support for the oil refining industry and financing of the Belarusian budget.

- We are actively cooperating on the financing of both investment projects and direct financing. These issues are being discussed," said the head of the Ministry of Finance, without specifying the amounts in question.
