Lukashenko Is Greatly Disappointed

There's no one to teach you how to plant potatoes.

Minister of Education Andrei Ivanets told about the results of the admission of applications for budgetary form of education in universities in 2025. According to him, the plan of enrollment for budgetary places is fulfilled by 99.4%, writes "Salidarnasts".

In other words, 0.6% of places applicants did not want to study even for free. If we take into account that 31.8 thousand people are planned to be admitted to the budgetary form of education in Belarus this year, it turns out that at least 190 places remain unoccupied.

Which profiles are not in honor among young people today? To the great disappointment of Lukashenko, who dreams of teaching everyone to plant potatoes, only two out of four agricultural universities have completely filled the budget places. 80 places remained vacant.

Minister Ivanets said that after July 27 an additional enrollment in the Gorky Agricultural Academy and Vitebsk Veterinary Academy is planned.

Another disappointment of the main "teacher" of the country should cause a shortage of some pedagogical specialties. The complexity of training and futility in terms of further realization and earnings have led to the fact that applicants have traditionally bypassed pedagogical specialties of physical and mathematical profile.

At the moment universities have finished accepting applications. Now in some specialties, where it is provided, internal tests for applicants are held. Admission to the budget will end on July 27.
