The head of the delegation reported the results to Zelensky.

Ukraine voiced three main conditions during the talks in Istanbul with Russia, which took place on July 23.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a statement by the head of the Ukrainian delegation Rustem Umerov.

Umerov said he reported to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on the results of the talks with the Russian side.

Ukraine's main priorities:

A complete and unconditional ceasefire, which implies the cessation of all strikes on civilian and critical infrastructure.

Organizing a meeting between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin with the participation of leaders of other countries - US Presidents Donald Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The Ukrainian side proposes to hold such a meeting by the end of August, taking into account the important timeframe proposed by the partners.

The continuation of the humanitarian track, which implies the return of all captured Ukrainians, including civilians and children, illegally taken to Russia. According to Umerov, the only obstacle is the lack of a political decision in the Kremlin for a ceasefire already today.

Umerov noted that the leaders' meeting could become a tool to help unblock political and security issues. Ukraine, he noted, is ready for this.

"We are grateful to partners who support efforts for peace - in particular, Turkey for its active role in creating a platform for dialog. Peace is possible. But for this, Moscow must change its approach: from ultimatums to responsibility, from war to solutions," Umerov concluded.
