Ukrainian And Russian Delegations Leave For Talks In Istanbul

The Ukrainian side is headed by SNBO Secretary Rustem Umerov.
On July 23, delegations from Ukraine and Russia traveled to Istanbul for the third round of direct talks.
This was reported by "Suspilny" and Russia's Interfax news agency, citing sources.
A source in the Office of the President told "Suspilne" that a delegation from Ukraine has traveled to Turkey for talks with Russia.
The delegation is headed by the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov. The talks are due to begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The Ukrainian delegation will include 14 people in total.
The Russian delegation also flew to Istanbul, Russian aviation services told Interfax.
"The plane of the Russian delegation flew from Moscow to Turkey," the agency's interlocutor said.
The Russian delegation is traditionally headed by the Russian leader's aide Vladimir Medinsky, who has already led a group of Russian negotiators in Istanbul in the spring of 2022.
The first round of talks between Ukraine and Russia was held in Istanbul on May 16 this year, the second on June 2.
The Ukrainian side earlier announced the agenda of the meeting: the return of prisoners of war, the return of children kidnapped by Russia and the preparation of a meeting at the leaders' level.
