Lukashenko Dreams About Production Of Russian UAVs In Belarus

Belarus and Samara region of Russia intend to cooperate in the production of drones. This was stated by the governor of Samara region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev following a meeting with Lukashenko on July 21, BelTA informs.

In March, Lukashenko visited the exhibition of the latest Russian unmanned aircraft systems "Demonstration of solutions of the BAS industry."

The main proposal of the Russian side was to create a plant in Belarus for the production of unmanned aircraft systems with a capacity of up to 100 thousand units annually.

"We will study this in principle," said Alexander Lukashenko at the time. - This is a very big prospect for us."

It should be noted that experts believe that such an enterprise could become a legitimate target for the AFU.
