U.S. Congressman: Trump Made A Mistake

The administration of US President Donald Trump made a huge mistake both during his campaign and after the election when it shifted the blame for the war to Ukraine, according to the Democrat on the US House of Representatives Committee, Congressman Adam Smith, writes The Hill.

"President Trump seemed to genuinely believe that it was Ukraine that was fueling the conflict," Smith said in an interview with host Shannon Bream on Fox News Sunday.

In turn, the American politician is convinced that it was the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin was the engine of the conflict in Ukraine.

The publication recalled that since Donald Trump entered the second presidential term, he and his administration have been insisting on ending the war in Ukraine, but these statements do not bring much success.
