Drones Attacked The Largest Railcar Depot In The Rostov Region

On the night of July 21, drones attacked several key railroad hubs in Russia.
One of the targets was Kamenolomni station, an important transportation hub in the Rostov region, where the region's largest railcar depot is located, writes "Dialog".
The fact of the attack was confirmed by Yuri Slyusar, the acting governor of the Rostov region. According to him, the region was subjected to a massive drone attack. Air defense systems worked in the areas of Novocherkassk, Novoshakhtinsk, Shakhty and Kamolomnye, the Ukraine 365 channel reported.
Slyusar noted that all drones over Kamolomnye were "successfully" shot down. However, debris from one of them fell on the roof of the station, causing a fire. Three employees were evacuated from the train station. No injuries were reported.
According to local sources, as a result of air defense operations, one of the downed drones also damaged the building of a flower store, causing a fire.
Kamenolomni station is a sectional station and serves both passenger electric trains and significant cargo traffic. Loading and unloading, acceptance and dispatch of both whole trains and carloads are carried out here. Trains are assembled on the access tracks and open areas of the station.
