An Iranian agent was caught spying on Jewish targets.
The German Foreign Ministry summoned Iran's ambassador over the detention of a man who was gathering spying information for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The agency emphasized that it "does not tolerate any threat to Jewish life in Germany."
"The suspicion against a Danish national of likely agent activity in favor of Iran should be fully investigated. The Iranian ambassador was summoned to the Foreign Ministry today," the statement said.
It should be noted that on Tuesday, July 1, German prosecutors charged a Danish citizen with collecting information about Jewish sites and persons in Berlin.
According to investigators, the suspect conducted surveillance of three such sites during June, the consequence of which could also have been terrorist actions against Jewish sites.
The suspect acted on instructions from the Quds Force, the overseas unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). In particular, the man photographed a number of buildings, notably the office of the German-Israeli Society.
A warrant for his arrest was executed last week with the assistance of police in the Danish city of Aarhus. After extradition from Denmark, the suspect will be brought before an investigating judge at the German Federal Court of Justice.
