Another Belarusian MAZ burned down in Russia.
On the evening of July 1, a MAZ bus burned down on Volkhonskoye highway in St. Petersburg. About it reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the agency, information about the fire was received at 18.32. When rescuers arrived at the scene, the bus was burning throughout the area. At 19.01 the fire was extinguished. No one was injured.
One of the eyewitnesses shared with ("Fontanka") impressions of what happened.
According to the passenger, everything happened suddenly. First he heard the car's signal, which lasted for a few seconds. Then the bus stopped abruptly, the doors opened, and passengers began to run out of the transport.
"I turn around - half of the salon in smoke. There was a bus, 20 minutes - and there was no bus," said an eyewitness.

He noted that the driver first tried to cope with the fire on his own, but the flames quickly engulfed the cabin. Fortunately, the doors opened in time and everyone managed to leave the vehicle. At the same time, according to the passenger, the design of windows in such buses inspires concern - it may be difficult to break them out if necessary.
